However, eating a healthy, balanced diet and exercising can further reduce the fat content of the cells and reduce the appearance of cellulite. VASERsmooth enables effective and quick treatment of cellulite with quick recoveries and obvious results. The VASERsmooth procedure is performed completely under local anesthesia in our surgically accredited office. Through several tiny incisions that are closed without stitches or scarring, a local anesthetic is then infused under the skin to completely numb the region. Using a thin, ultrasonic 'VASERsmooth' probe designed specifically for use just under the skin, the VASER Smoother emulsifies surface fat, breaks up fibrous tissue and tightens loose skin, resulting in an overall and permanently smooth appearance.
Procedure before the surgery
After the surgeon's examination, it is necessary to perform laboratory tests, EKG, and it is preferable to do an internist's examination. If you drink aspirin or some other preparations that make blood clotting more difficult, you should stop taking this therapy two weeks before the operation, and if you are a smoker, it is advisable to stop smoking a few weeks before the procedure. Our staff will give you all the necessary instructions before the surgery appointment to make the entire procedure easier for you. On the day of the operation, you should come to the clinic on an empty stomach (do not eat or drink anything) and bring your medical documentation.
Anesthesia
Depending on the regions of the body that are treated with VASER liposuction, the anesthesia will also depend. If it is about smaller areas, as well as smaller amounts of fatty tissue that is to be removed, the procedure can be performed under local anesthesia. If larger areas are being worked on, as well as reducing a larger amount of fatty tissue, then it is recommended to perform the procedure under general anesthesia.
The operation is performed through a minimal incision just a few millimeters wide. After the application of a specially prepared liquid, VASER uses ultrasonic liposelective waves to break up fat deposits in a targeted manner, while the surrounding tissue is preserved. The broken fat cells transformed into liquid are easily removed from the body by suction, and the skin remains taut afterwards. VASER 3D liposuction produces high-quality fat that is suitable for transplantation to other parts of the body, lips, cheeks or breasts. After the procedure, special RESTON sponges are placed on the treated part of the body, which reduce the formation of hematomas and swelling. After everything, a corset, or special compression clothing, is placed.
Surgery
Procedure after the surgery
Depending on the extent of the procedure, you will stay at the Polyclinic from a few hours to a few days after the operation. After that, accompanied, you can go home or to your accommodation. It is recommended to rest for the first 24 or 48 hours, and avoid physical exertion for the next 2 to 4 weeks. Postoperative lymphatic drainage is also recommended to accelerate the disappearance of postoperative edema. A bra or compression garment is worn for 2 to 4 weeks. Each patient receives our emergency phone number, which can be reached by the Polyclinic staff in case of need. Our staff will give you detailed instructions after the operation so that you can recover as soon as possible and return to your daily activities.
