About the procedure
During aging, the skin of the face relaxes and the volume of fat tissue is lost, which is most pronounced in the area of the cheeks and around the eyes. Rejuvenation with one's own fat cells today belongs to the most modern methods of permanent facial rejuvenation, which achieves a double effect - fat cells are removed from a critical zone (e.g. abdomen, thighs or back) and transferred to an area where volume needs to be compensated, such as the cheek region , dark circles, temples or chin. Also, the volume of the lips can be increased in the same way, which achieves a permanent result. The procedure can be repeated several times without fear, if the desired volume is not achieved in the first treatment.

Procedure after the surgery
Postoperatively, if the procedure was performed under local anesthesia, the patient can receive home care after a short observation. With general anesthesia, the patient stays with us for the first 24 hours, in order to receive all the necessary care and attention. For the first 6 weeks, it is necessary to wear a special corset in the area from which part of the fat cells were removed, so that excess fluid does not accumulate in it.
Procedure before the surgery
If the procedure is performed only on one region (e.g. chin or lips), it can be performed under local anesthesia. In case it is done under general anesthesia, it is necessary to do a complete blood count, biochemistry and coagulogram, as well as an EKG.
Anesthesia
The oprocedure is performed under local or general anesthesia, with minimal postoperative discomfort.
Surgery
In the first part of the procedure, fat cells are removed by liposuction from the targeted critical zone (eg abdomen, waist, thighs or hips) and are separated from excess fluid by centrifugation in a special apparatus. This is followed by preparation for transfer to the desired area of the face, where volume needs to be replaced. At the same time, the greatest attention is paid to preserving the vitality of the fat cells themselves, which achieves the maximum success of their survival in the new region (the expected permanent volume is about 60-70% of the transferred volume, due to the resorption of part of the fat cells). In the final part of the surgical procedure, fat cells are transferred to the desired part of the face, where by replacing the volume, the effect of rejuvenation and a kind of tissue lifting is obtained.
