INTIMATE
SURGICAL LABIOPLASTIC / CORRECTION OF LABIA MINOR
AESTHETIC SURGERY
Procedure before the surgery
Before the procedure itself, measurements and operative planning are carefully performed, marking the part of the small lips that is to be removed. In doing so, extreme care is taken not to damage the vascular and nerve structures of that region.
Anesthesia
Depending on the patient's wishes, labiaplasty can be performed under local, locally potentiated or general anesthesia.
Surgery
Depending on the extent and characteristics of the tissue or asymmetry, a tangential excision can be performed when excess tissue is removed parallel to the line of the labia majora. In some cases, a wedge resection of excess tissue is a better solution. The operation is performed using a special radio wave knife/device "Ellman", which enables very precise and bloodless removal of excess tissue. Thanks to this technical possibility, the recovery itself is extremely fast and painless. At the end of the procedure, the mucosa is sutured with resorption sutures that do not need to be removed.
Recovery after labiaplasty is relatively quick. After the operation, you can expect a slight swelling and a few days of less secretion. Sutures are resorbable and do not need to be removed.
Procedure after surgery
About the procedure
Large or asymmetric labia can be a significant emotional as well as functional problem in women. Correction of the labia (labioplasty) is a surgical procedure that reduces or reshapes the labia.
