PRIM. DR. SINIŠA GLUMIČIĆ

Born in Zagreb and raised in a family of doctors, Dr. Glumičić decided to become a doctor at an early age.

After finishing high school in Boston (Massachusetts, USA), he enrolled in medical studies in Zagreb, where he graduated in 1988 as the youngest doctor in Europe at the time. After completing his medical studies, he went to the USA, where he spent a year in Boston and trained in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery at the plastic surgery clinic at Massachusetts General Hospital, as well as at the private institution for aesthetic surgery, Boston Cosmetic Surgery Center.

In 1990, after returning from the USA, Dr. Glumičić started working as an associate and assistant of prof. Dr. Milojević, the doyen of cosmetic surgery in this area, within the then only private clinic for cosmetic surgery MILO. At the same time, he specializes in head and neck surgery and participates in all courses of the American Academy of Aesthetic Surgery, as well as the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery, becoming their regular member. He is one of the founders and active members of the European Academy of Aesthetic Surgery, the World Academy of Aesthetic Surgery, a member of the Croatian Society for Maxillofacial Surgery and Facial Plastic Surgery, the International Association for Surgical Reconstruction of the Scalp, and numerous other professional organizations.

In 2014, prim. Dr. Glumičić became the honorary president and founder of the CROATIAN SOCIETY FOR AESTHETIC MEDICINE (HDEM), as well as the president of SEEFAS (Society for Facial Aesthetics of Southeast Europe).

Since 1992, Dr. Glumičić has been running the Center for Aesthetic Surgery in Rogaška Slatina in Slovenia.

In 1994, he opened a private surgical practice in Zagreb, which in 1996 grew into the "Glumičić Medical Group" specialist polyclinic.

In the last 30 years of work, Dr. Glumičić and his team have operated on more than 15,000 patients and with each new year they try to provide their patients with the best of their services, knowledge and abilities.

Considering continuous education as the basis of quality service, he regularly visits and actively participates in work with colleagues from the country and the world, applying the acquired knowledge and technology in his Polyclinic. dr. Glumičić is also one of the initiators and participants in the FACE TO FACE project, as part of which a team of American and European head and neck surgery specialists, in cooperation with our experts, "pro bono" operated on Croatian wounded and children with congenital malformations on several occasions. faces.

Striving to bring cosmetic surgery closer and accessible to every interested individual, as well as to break down many taboo topics or misconceptions, Dr. Glumičić is a frequent guest lecturer at popular and professional medical and cosmetic gatherings, or in specialized shows where human beauty and appearance are discussed.

Insisting on naturalness and using the most modern technology, today a successful aesthetic procedure must be individually adapted to each individual patient.
