Procedure before the surgery
After the initial consultation with the surgeon, it is necessary to perform a preoperative treatment in the sense of USG (ultrasound) or MMG (mammography) of the breasts, in order to rule out irregularities of the glandular tissue of the breasts. It is also necessary to do a complete blood count, biochemistry and coagulogram, as well as an ECG. It is recommended to stop smoking at least 3 months before the procedure, so that unwanted complications in terms of increased necrosis (death) of fat cells do not occur.
Anesthesia
The surgery is performed under general anesthesia, with minimal postoperative discomfort.
Surgery
In the first part of the procedure, fat cells are removed from the target critical zone (eg abdomen, waist, thighs or hips) by liposuction and separated from excess fluid by centrifugation in a special apparatus. This is followed by preparation for transfer to the breast area, where it is necessary to replace the volume (it is possible to replace a partial lack of volume, as well as to increase the volume of the entire breast). At the same time, the greatest attention is paid to preserving the vitality of the fat cells themselves, which achieves the maximum success of their survival in the new region (the expected permanent volume is about 60-70% of the transferred volume, due to the resorption of part of the fat cells). In the final part of the operation, fat cells are transferred to the breast area, where, in addition to volume replacement, the effect of rejuvenation is obtained, i.e. a kind of lifting of the breast tissue.
Procedure after the surgery
Postoperatively, the patient stays with us for the first 24 hours, in order to receive all the necessary care and attention. Before discharge, our staff will provide you with a specially designed soft support bra, which must be worn 23 hours a day for the next 6 weeks, in order to preserve the breast shape achieved in the early stage of tissue healing.
